Finding that one incredible treasure waiting for you in an antique shop is the best feeling but, once you’ve walked up and down each aisle, the hunt is over. And, sometimes, you want more. You want to stroll through endless vendor booths of vintage and antique finds, hoping to find just the item you’ve had on your wish list. You want to be surrounded by vintage lovers who all have the same obsession with seeing the beauty in old stuff.

The best place to immerse yourself in all things vintage and antiques is at an antique market or show, of which there are several throughout the South. These are the events where vendors come together from across the region for a multi-day event that shows off the best of their collections. People come from far and wide for a bucket list trip to Round Top, or they plan a trip to Nashville around the iconic flea. If there’s that one white whale item that’s been evading you, these are the places to find it.

Marburger Farm Antique Show is known as one of the grande dames of Round Top, TX. With over 300 exhibitors, Marburger has a range of antiques and treasure that cover both United States-sourced antiques as well as sought-after European antiques.

This is where you go to find everything from a centuries-old French armoire to a funky mid-century chair to, of course, a few primitive pieces that might be right at home in a Texas ranch.
